1. Parties

This agreement is between you (“User”) and youself.io (the “Service”). By using the Service, you confirm that:

The Service provides:

  • An isolated virtual machine on Proxmox VE for the AI agent
  • The Telegram bot @youself_io_bot as the agent interface
  • Web access to your own knowledge base (Markdown)
  • A ready LLM model via OpenRouter (access to GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • A wallet for token usage accounting
  • Technical support via email/Telegram

3. What is NOT provided

  • Direct services from AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). Requests are routed via OpenRouter; the Service bills tokens with a transparent markup (2× base cost).
  • Legal, medical, or financial advice via AI. AI responses are informational, not professional counsel.
  • Guarantees of AI accuracy. AI can hallucinate — verify critical decisions.
  • Uptime guarantees > 99.5% / SLA for individual users. Enterprise SLAs are separate.

4. Acceptable use

Full list in AUP. Top restrictions:

  • No malware, phishing, spam
  • No CSAM (zero tolerance, immediate termination + report)
  • No crypto mining
  • No reverse engineering of the platform
  • No reselling Service access

Violation → immediate suspension without refund.

5. Payment and subscription

5.1 Structure

  • Subscription base: €15/month
  • AI tokens: billed separately on usage, transparent tariff (2× base token cost)
  • Signup bonus: 3 EUR credited to wallet
  • Payment provider: LiqPay (PrivatBank)

5.2 Charges

  • Subscription is charged monthly to the linked card
  • Tokens are debited from wallet per AI request
  • If wallet is empty, subscription pauses until top-up

5.3 Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime via bot, site, or email
  • Access remains until the end of the paid period
  • Then VM is paused for 30 days (you can return)
  • After 30 days, VM and data are deleted

5.4 Refunds

Details in Refund Policy. Short: 14 days if the AI agent was not heavily used.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 What’s yours

  • Knowledge base content you upload
  • AI-generated content from your prompts (subject to local AI-copyright limitations)
  • Your own agent configuration

6.2 What’s ours

  • Service infrastructure, code, design
  • Brand, logo, domain names
  • API contracts, documentation, guides

6.3 License back

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content only for service delivery (executing AI requests, storage, backup). We do not use your content to train LLM models.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. Maximum aggregate liability = the amount paid for the current month of subscription.

We are NOT liable for:

  • Data loss if you didn’t take a backup (although we run daily backups on our side)
  • Damages from AI hallucinations or erroneous advice
  • Downtime of third-party providers (LiqPay, OpenRouter, Telegram, Hetzner)
  • Hacker / state actor / unforeseeable events (force majeure)
  • Lost profits, reputation, business opportunities from using the Service

This limit does not apply to:

  • Gross negligence or willful misconduct on our side
  • Personal injury
  • Where your jurisdiction doesn’t permit such limitation (consumer rights)

8. Content and moderation

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates AUP or law
  • Suspend accounts for abuse
  • Hand over data to law enforcement in response to legitimate requests (warrant, court order)

9. Jurisdiction and dispute resolution

  • Governing law: Ukrainian law
  • Venue: Kyiv, Ukraine
  • EU consumers: Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU + GDPR apply; you can sue in your jurisdiction
  • Before disputes: mandatory mediation attempt via legal@youself.io (30 days)

10. Changes to terms

For material changes:

  • Email notice 30 days before the effective date
  • If you disagree, you may cancel without penalty
  • Continued use after effective date = consent to the new version

11. Termination

We may terminate this agreement:

  • Immediately for AUP violations
  • With 30-day notice for reasonable cause (business decision)
  • With 90-day notice on our wind-down + full refund of unused funds

You may terminate anytime by canceling the subscription.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remaining parts stay in force.
