Terms of Service

1. Parties

This agreement is between you (“User”) and youself.io (“Service”).

2. What is provided

The Service provides:

• An isolated virtual machine on Hetzner Cloud.
• Access to a Telegram assistant bot.
• Obsidian Web interface.
• Integration with API providers (BYOK).

3. What is NOT provided

• The AI provider service itself (Anthropic, OpenAI). The User uses their own key and pays the provider directly.
• Legal, medical, or financial advice via AI.
• Guarantees of AI accuracy.

4. Acceptable use

The User must NOT use the Service for:

• Creating or distributing malware, phishing, or spam.
• Sexual exploitation of minors (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate termination and reporting.
• Compromised or third-party API keys.
• Crypto mining, DDoS, or other bad-faith actions.

Violation = immediate VM suspension without refund.

5. Payments

• One-time pricing, no auto-renewal.
• Provider — Paddle (Merchant of Record).
• Refund — 14 days from payment if the VM was not actively used (≤ 1 hour CPU).

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as-is.” Maximum liability = the amount paid for the current term. We are not responsible for:

• Data loss if you didn’t take a backup.
• Damages from AI hallucinations.
• API provider downtime (Anthropic/OpenAI).

7. Jurisdiction

Disputes governed by Ukrainian law, venue Kyiv. EU consumers retain GDPR / Consumer Rights Directive protections.

8. Changes

Material changes announced via email 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date = consent.
