Refund Policy
Draft. Align with Paddle dispute policy. Do not publish before counsel review.
1. Refund eligibility
You may request a refund within 14 days of payment if:
- The VM has not been activated yet (
/start <token>in the bot) — full refund. - The VM has been activated but not actively used (CPU usage < 1 hour) — full refund.
2. Exceptions (no refund)
- Active VM usage exceeding 1 hour CPU.
- Acceptable Use Policy violations (Terms § 4).
- Request received after 14 days.
3. How to request
- Email
support@youself.iowith subjectRefund <order_id>. - Include the reason.
- We typically respond within 1 business day.
Alternatively, you can dispute directly with Paddle via your bank.
4. Processing time
- Refund confirmation: up to 3 business days.
- Card credit: 5–10 business days (depends on your bank).
5. What happens to the VM
After a refund:
- The VM is suspended immediately.
- Data is deleted after 30 days (you can request a backup before then).
6. Disputes (chargebacks)
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, the VM is blocked instantly. We will provide Paddle with evidence within their dispute window.
